Co-founder and principal with Kapakai Films. As producer, director, cinematographer, and editor, I work to bring unique stories of China to American audience.  In addition, I take on various freelance projects and provide consulting services in production and editing.

Producer, editor, and additional photography on the long-form documentary Dr. Song: Medicine Woman of Eastern Tibet (post-production completed in August, 2007). Synopsis: "Filmmaker Yiqing Zhao traveled on pilgrimage to the Tibetan lamasary at Labrang in Gansu Province, China. She expected to find a deeper understanding of Buddhism among the lamas and temples. Instead, she found it in the works of a simple country doctor."

Media648 – Co-producer/Cinematographer/Editor (2009 – Present)

Currently in production on the feature-length documentary United States of War. As cinematographer, responsible for designing and executing the visual look of the film, including lighting and camera operation. As editor, responsible for all editorial on the film through fine cut and delivery, as well as cutting trailers and other short pieces for funding, web, and marketing efforts.

Wood, Jr. “Through his writings, Wood has peered deeply into the central issues that have characterized America since her founding: war and peace, violence and compassion. Bearing Witness explores the world of Wood, bringing to life the visceral experiences he writes so passionately about.”

Finishing editor on NAT GEO broadcast documentary Inside New Orleans High – Daphna Rubin producer (aired 10/26/08). In addition, reassembled HD edit suite that was sent from their Washington, D.C. office.
